I thought it would be nice to put in a little bit about us, so that others can learn from our mistakes and successes.

Baron and I (Stephanie) were married in 2000 while we were both in college in Oregon. Baron had been in ROTC but you have to sign the papers giving them at least 4 years of your life BEFORE they tell you what you will be doing. Baron was already 26 years old and knew that if he got an assignment that wasn't pilot he never would be a pilot. We decided to put in his packet for active duty Air Force and applied with our Oregon state officer recruiter.

Long story short, he was accepted and now we are living in Enid Oklahoma and he is in T-1s at Vance AFB.

On May 4, 2005 we finally started our RV-8 dream, we had been trying to start an RV for 4 years now, every time we got close to buying it, something else happened. Finally we have the kit and it is opened in the garage!!! I know that once we start building our new plane there will be a second "woman" in the picture hence the name of my site.

It is all in good fun though, Baron even made me open one of the Empennage boxes because it was our plane not just HIS airplane.
