Well Saturday started out being planned as a day to go to Lowe's and get wood for a work bench. That plan lasted about as long as it took us to get in the door. I made a b-line to the garden section (I love planting stuff) and Baron headed to the Tools section. Usually we "baby sit" each other when we go, our rule is that we always stay together. The rule didn't really make it this time so the shopping got a little expensive.
I have to add a small point here, all right a big point, Enid is SO small that Lowe's is THE only hardware store with ANY selection. Needless to say we REALLY miss Home Depot, the guy IN CHARGE of the tool section didn't know what a #30 or #40 drill bit was. Enough said about Lowe's and Enid.
I caught up with Baron in the tool section and he was drooling over the drill press. {sigh} I could almost see the dollar signs in the air. :~) Their price was a little high so we decided to check out Sears. Have you noticed that I haven't mentioned the work bench yet? That's because all thoughts and plans of it went right out the window at the sight of that beautiful gleaming hunk of metal.
Sears had the EXACT same drill but with a Craftsman sticker on it (same book too) but it was a LOT less and it came with a gift card that paid for the deburring wheels.

Look at that happy builders grin.

All teasing aside this thing ROCKS! It has a light on it, and a laser cross-hairs.

Baron told me not to take a picture of this problem with the drill press, so I had to sneak one. When we were drilling a piece, there was no real way to hold it securely down and the drill grabbed it out of Baron's hand. Here he is taking it off the bit.
Like someone said on the list, getting your RV kit is akin to having a child, and here is a picture of Baron showing off his "baby." (Monkey I am sorry for the bad picture)
