August 9, 2005        Trim Tab!

Baron bent the trim tab at our advisor's so I don't have any pictures. If you really need to know how he did it drop me a line and I will get Baron to explain it.

When I saw this picture the first thing I thought of was a "Where's Waldo?" picture.....can you find the side clamp clekoe? Oh by the way there is the trim tab :~)

Here is the rest of the ______.

(I am brain farting on the name of the big piece ......... I really need to update this site earlier in the day)

I LOVE this shot...

If any married women are looking at this picture you will soon learn this look.

"Take the picture all ready so i can get back to building!!!!!!"

Here is a great shot of the hinge for the trim tab. To get the whole thing lined up perfectly you need to take it apart. You do this by removing the pin from the middle, it stuck and was a pain to get out but went back in really easily.

Here is a picture of where the hinge will go.

Here are two shots of what the backside of the trim tab looks like with its' hardware clekoed on.

We held on half of the hinge with side clamp clekoes.

Make sure you use enough side clams, you don't want the hinge bowing out in the middle.

talk about sweating a drilling

One side down....

We used the all purpose painter's tape again here to hold the hinge to check free movement

It worked like a charm and we started drilling and clekoeing.

YAHOO!!!
